Description
Mist is my favorite traveler, even though the website is called Bismuth Tool. You can unlock her after finishing the tutorial and she currently has the best passive in the game: Astrid's Masterpiece — En Garde. This passive allows her to deal additional AP on her first three attacks and gain a barrier, making her nearly invincible. She's like a blueish Malenia 🗡️
This build is for new players since it's pretty affordable, it will work around Mist's first passive and Flèche which has a pretty cool interaction with Essence of Momentum, that we will select as our Déjà Vu.
==== # Build explanation # ====
Flèche is an amazing memory that has a pretty good AD scaling, can be cast up to 3 times and act as a basic attack, that will allow us to trigger Essence of Momentum to reduce the cooldown of the memory and refill its 3 charges quickly. Remember about the passive? Since Flèche acts as a basic attack it will trigger Astrid's Masterpiece - En Garde and provide a barrier which will scale on AP.
Our goal is to get Astrid's Masterpiece - En Garde to +6 to trigger the effects every 0.5s, making every instance of Flèche trigger AD and AP damage on enemies, providing a shield and reducing the cooldown of the memory thanks to Momentum. Once we reach enough memory level with the passive we spend all our dream dust on either Momentum or Flèche, at some point we will be able to play without using basic attacks.
There are some cool essences we can slot in Flèche like:
Essence of Rigidity to get even more shields
Essence of Guidance to increase the barrier effects
Essence of Paranoia for auto-cast
Essence of Charcoal / Essence of Sharpness for projectiles on cast
Essence of Obsidian to reduce the cooldown of the memory (this is a better version of Momentum but cost much more stardust on Déjà Vu.)
The list is endless, you can pretty much slot in anything you find, and it'll work.
As second loadout option we're going for Unbreakable Determination which is pretty good for room clearing, you can also try to use Parry since we're building AP but using it is less efficient than relying on Flèche spamming.
For our other memories options we have Frostbite to help with shields and cold damage.
Umbral Edge is a bit trickier since it convert the damage we deal to dark damage but increase our critical rate, we can use another memory with Essence of Composure to achieve pretty much the same results or use Essence of Inversion to convert the base dark damage to light damage (which will stack with Flèche). Since we're running a light damage build Essence of Shatter is niche but really strong.
==== # Constellations # ====
Mist has many stars in the Destruction Path that are designed for boss-killing while maintaining a high HP. We won't use most of them, but feel free to check out this other build that uses her second passive to nuke bosses: Mist - Priorité / Boss clearing
Destruction
Strike the Weakness is really strong with a good synergy with Flèche or Lunge.
We are also using Lucky Clover and Powerful Blow to leverage her high critical rate
Daylight will help us increase the damage of Flèche
Awakened Magic and Valiant Challenger can be swapped by other stars, they help us in earlier stage to keep high barrier values, more healing on Unbreakable Determination cast and damage on bosses.
Life
We will have no real source of healing except from Unbreakable Determination so Asclepius help us with potions
Honey-Glazed Fruit is also great for early stages
imagination
We are aiming for maximum dream dust possible to dump on the passive so Dismantle and Analyze and Efficient Extraction are great
Beginner's Luck is a no-brainer, 230% quality on Momentum is incredible.
Flexible
Lightning Breath is what makes this build fantastic, making Mist teleports to enemies and applying light damage
Two Hearts will provide some emergency healing
