## Bug Fixes

Critical Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where enemies could appear in a state of permanent invincibility
- Fixed a bug where the loading screen would sometimes persist infinitely when joining the lobby

Visual Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where extremely bright and flickering flashes would occur on certain devices
- Fixed a bug where some effects appeared pink in co-op games
- Fixed a bug where Mist's cloak would not flutter on certain devices

Mirage Skin Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the pink missiles of Delusion Mirage Skin would sometimes remain motionless and persist indefinitely
- Adjusted so that after being stunned by Shattered Mirage Skin, you cannot be stunned again for 1.5 seconds
- Adjusted so that shields destroyed by Shattered Mirage Skin are not counted as "damage taken" in the results screen

Limbo & Lucid Dreams:
- Fixed a bug where, after loading the Limbo game and returning to the lobby, Lucid Dreams: Order and Lucid Dreams: Chaos could be used
- Fixed a bug where, in games using Lucid Dreams: Marsh of Destiny, Mirage Skin would affect special monsters such as Dark Moon's Clone and Dream Teller
- Fixed a bug where temporary penalties from Lucid Dream: Marsh of Destiny would become permanent

Co-op Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where, after dying and reviving in a toxic area during co-op, the healing reduction effect would persist indefinitely

Localization:
- Fixed some translation errors

## Limbo: the Ultimate Challenge

Limbo is a new game mode created for highly skilled veterans, featuring a difficulty level far beyond the existing "Nightmare". Endure extreme agony and satisfy the Empress of Pain to earn exclusive rewards.

## Hidden Boss: Companion of the Starry Sky

A new secret has been added to the world of the "Fragment of the Starry Sky". Face the Companion of the Night Sky and claim special rewards.

## Obliteration

Exclude specific Memories or Essences from appearing in your adventure.

## New Threats

Added 5 new Mirage Skins - As you descend deeper into the Rapids, more diverse Mirage Skins will appear, offering travelers additional threats beyond the existing healing reduction.

This update focuses on enhancing overall performance and stability while addressing several key bugs.

## Optimization

New Graphics Settings:
- Added "Off" option for Fog Quality settings
→ Greatly improves FPS, especially on lower-end PCs
- Added Texture Quality settings

Performance Improvements:
- Overall game performance optimization
- Fixed severe frame drops and high GPU usage in the title screen and certain maps
- Improved Unity engine security features

## Adjustments

Gameplay:
- The cast time of Sneeze now scales with Attack Speed
- Reduced the visual intensity of elemental effects on large bosses
- When both Travelers and Heroic Bosses die simultaneously, Travelers will now revive instead of triggering game over
- Ultimate Malice star now consistently applies to Annihilation Stance

## Bug Fixes

General:
- Fixed mouse button input malfunction on Linux and Mac systems
- Fixed a bug where the game could freeze when selecting Play Tutorial or identifying Artifacts in certain languages
- Fixed the inaccurate completion rate display for Déjà vu
- Fixed occasional slowdown in Sneeze cast time

Shell Traveler Fixes:
- Fixed abnormal Attack Damage and Attack Speed when using Essence of Quicksilver
- Fixed Shell Traveler sometimes moving more slowly without reason

Item & Star Fixes:
- Fixed Apple of Discord disabling certain star effects, such as Controlled Madness
- Fixed Embrace Mortality damage boost being applied multiple times under specific conditions

Game Mode Fixes:
- Fixed multiple bugs that occurred when leaving and returning to a Chaos area without claiming rewards
- Fixed Mirage Skin monsters continuously refreshing the Delusional effect through burn damage
- Fixed White Night safe zone failing to activate when using certain Memories

UI Fixes:
- Fixed the inability to change Traveler Memories in the Constellation screen when playing at 4:3 resolution

Co-op Fixes:
- Fixed Lucid Dream selection resetting when a new Traveler joined a Co-op lobby
- Fixed clients being unable to skip the final boss cutscene in certain cases
→ Travelers no longer take damage during cutscene playback

Localization:
- Updated several translation texts

## Progression

Traveler Mastery Rewards:
- Added Stardust rewards for Traveler Mastery levels
→ Receive 250 Stardust at levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30
- You now receive all mastery rewards even if you exit the game, are disconnected, or experience a crash
- Required mastery points for levels 0–30 reduced by 30%

Achievement Adjustments:
- Several overly repetitive achievements have had their completion requirements lowered:
→ Eternal Rest, Go with the Flow, They're Just Big Cats, The True Ruler of the Forest, Feels Like Home, Hunters? What Hunters?
- Achievements that have been completed due to these changes will now unlock when entering the first stream

Stardust Rewards Increased:
- From Artifact: 20 → 60
- From Dream of the Star Seeker: 20 → 100

## General

- You can now skip the cutscene of knocking on the door in the Garden
- Players can join co-op sessions up until just before the final boss encounter
- After all monsters are defeated:
→ The Flame Tornado in the Crimson Flame Demon event will stop spawning
→ Random Teleport in the Warped Space event will cease

## Balance Adjustments

Memories & Essence:
- One Step, One Kill: Now restores Health after defeating any boss
- Essence of Rejuvenation: Healing increased by 50%
- Essence of Blossoming: Damage reduction 80% → 70%
- Flash Freeze: Max charges 1 → 2, cooldown 6.5s → 5s, damage +30%
- Great Frost Sword: Damage +25%, single-target bonus 200% → 350%
- Static Discharge: Max damage +30%
- Pressure Point: Collision damage +40%

Monsters:
- Lava pool duration from Fire Spirits is reduced by 50%
- In non-Nightmare difficulties, Infernus now summons 2 pillars instead of 3
- The number of small fireballs during the final boss's Meteor Shower now scales with difficulty

## Optimization

- Added option to adjust "Player Skill Count" in graphics settings for smoother late-game performance
- Performance optimizations for Travelers, Memories, and Essences such as Bismuth, Essence of Charcoal, Battle Cry, and Blizzard
- Fixed severe frame drops when interacting with the Altar Cleansing in long sessions
- Blizzard now supports up to 10 instances per Traveler simultaneously

## Bug Fixes

General:
- Fixed a bug where a white screen would appear and block progress at the final boss
- Fixed a bug where all platforms broke at the end of Phase 1 in the final boss fight
- Fixed a bug where excessive currency collection caused negative currency values
- Fixed the inconsistent activation of Soul Prison
- Fixed overlapping spawn issues with Teleport Remnants and Shrines on the Eroded Isle of Despair
- Fixed incorrect colors for certain visual effects
- Fixed mismatched tooltip text for the Hero Boss Reverie Quest
- Fixed missing resurrection effect indicators above the Health bar for certain stars
- Fixed missing Determination Shard resurrection icons after loading a save
- Fixed persistent gold tooltips when using a controller
- Fixed quests that triggered after moving to the final boss

Achievements:
- Fixed Coin Explosion is not counted as crowd control for the Now Now Stay Still achievement
- Fixed Teal Blade is not counted as a movement skill in Vesper's Peak challenge
- Fixed Cruel Sun not counting as a cold memory in Vesper's challenge
- Fixed and adjusted completion conditions for Aurena's Overflowing Healing achievement

Co-op:
- Fixed items being dropped during Rift travel with travel voting disabled
- Fixed Barrier Battery achievement not being completable by clients
- Fixed the co-op session not starting when a player disconnected before fighting Azraq
- Fixed chat bans resetting when a banned player rejoined the game

Travelers:
- Fixed Mist's Charged Sabre not functioning properly
- Fixed Vesper's Cruel Sun, causing skill lock before moving to the next area
- Fixed Nachia's Moonlight Pact becoming unusable when combined with Essence of Paranoia
- Fixed Soul Oil of Shell and Life Neglect not affecting non-primary targets
- Fixed Shell's basic attack not applying 50% of attack effects to non-primary targets

## Changes

Progression:
- Increased bonus Stardust obtained by defeating Heroic Bosses at higher difficulties (0/1/3/5 → 0/2/4/7)
- Increased bonus Stardust obtained from activating Evil Lucid Dreams (1 → 3)

Gameplay Adjustments:
- In co-op games, the Light Pillar in the World of Pure White no longer requires all players to be nearby
- Travelers can no longer be chain-stunned by the Oppressor's hypnosis attack in Forgotten Naraka's cave
- Meteor Showers during Hazardous Weather in Land of Pyrana now stop after all enemies are defeated
- The star that enhances the first obtained Essence now ignores certain Essences such as Camilla's Gift and Metallic Crystal
- Vesper with Reckless Leap equipped now casts Discipline at maximum range instantly if cast beyond range

Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where Baam's teleport attack marker and actual hit location differed when receiving a movement speed bonus
- Fixed a bug where teleporting away and leaving summoned monsters behind on some maps occupied by Stalkers in the Eroded Isle of Despair would make progression impossible
- Fixed several text typos and translation errors

## Bug Fixes

General:
- Fixed a bug where crashes could corrupt save files, display Korean text, and break the Constellation UI
- Fixed a bug where the final boss cutscene sometimes wouldn't start, leaving the screen white and starting the battle anyway
- Fixed a bug where characters could not move upon reaching the World of Pure White
- Fixed a bug where killing Azraq with DoT damage mid-roll caused the soul to spawn outside the map and locked the rift
- Fixed some achievements occasionally not unlocking: True Support, Master of Evasion, Introduction to Elements
- Fixed a bug where aiming indicators for channeled Memories like Shadow Bullet, Bone Crusher, and Beam of Balance would remain and prevent skill casting
→ This fix applies to cases when they are cast simultaneously with other Memories, auto-cast via Somnambulism Curse or Self-Writing Story Star, interrupted by CC, or canceled by death
- Fixed a bug where buying Star Slots consecutively allowed purchases without enough Stardust
- Fixed a bug where canceling Bone Crusher on maps affected by Distorted Space caused Memories to lock or become permanently unstoppable
- Fixed a bug where monsters gained excessive health when leveling up under the Dark Urge Lucid Dream due to HP calculation errors
- Fixed a bug where Memories and Essences acquired from the Altar of Transcendence were not treated as discovered
- Fixed a bug where shared Constellation descriptions appeared in the Flexible Star list even if no shared Constellations were unlocked
- Fixed a bug where loading a game with Essence of Frost reset the tooltip HP gain to 0
- Fixed a bug where water sounds in certain areas of Whispering Lotus Plateau ignored volume settings
- Fixed a bug where Lightning Dance could teleport players past barriers
- Fixed a bug where lowercase "m" in Traveler names displayed incorrectly
- Fixed a bug where Azraq would sometimes cast a basic attack without warning while using special attacks
- Fixed a bug where Dark Moon Spear thrust tracking speed was affected by FPS
- Fixed a bug where the game started with a few seconds already elapsed

Characters:
- Lacerta – Fixed a bug where upgrading Quick Draw removed the charge reduction effect of the Indiscriminate Barrage Star
- Lacerta – Fixed a bug where Lizard Oil Star's charge increase effect was not applied when used with other Stars enhancing dodge skills
- Lacerta – Fixed a bug where the movement speed bonus of Flexible Lizard Star stacked multiple times
- Nachia – Fixed a bug where the Impressive Dance Steps Star did not work or reduced buff duration
- Nachia – Fixed a bug where summons sometimes spawned on the opposite side of the map when Heroic Boss cutscenes started
- Nachia – Fixed a bug where summon HP displayed differently in Lobby and Recollections tooltip than in actual gameplay
- Bismuth – Fixed a bug where Good Material Star did not work
- Bismuth – Fixed a bug where Distorted Mind Memory was counted as Light Damage Memory instead of Dark Damage Memory in achievements
- Bismuth – Fixed a bug where Valiant Heart's damage text was displayed in blue (Ability Power) instead of the correct format

Co-op:
- Fixed a bug where Nyx's Black Hole pulled all players except the host too strongly
- Fixed a bug where interacting with the Dream Teller and moving to another map during dialogue would lock the player's controls
- Fixed a bug where Adventure Essence triggered even when the player was dead
- Fixed a bug where the name of the Rift of Beginnings was sometimes displayed incorrectly on the client

## Performance Improvements

- Fixed severe performance drops when gaining gradually fading shields (e.g., Mass Protection, Blizzard), especially in co-op
- Slightly improved performance when many enemies are on screen
- Slightly optimized visual effects of Hunter monsters
- Limited the number of Fireballs launched by Essence of Scorch; Fireballs are now "compressed" when exceeding the limit
→ Tooltip numbers remain unchanged, but the number of actual Fireballs decreases, and their Single Target Damage increases to keep total damage equal
→ Maximum Fireballs: 40 in solo play, 15 in co-op
- Limited the number of projectiles when using "Say Hello to My Little Friends!" with Bismuth's Pure Soul; projectiles are now "compressed" when exceeding the limit
→ Tooltip numbers remain unchanged, but the number of actual projectiles decreases, and their Single Target Damage increases to keep total damage equal
→ Maximum projectiles: 30 in solo, 20 in 2-player co-op, 10 in 3+ player co-op

## Hotfix Notes

New Features:
- Added a feature to reset purchased stars
- Now, when you press the purchase or enhance button in the constellation screen, the star is immediately purchased/enhanced

Traveler Mastery Experience Improvements:
- The number of points gained by beginners is increased
- The number of points gained by players who explore the world for a long time is increased
- The amount of points gained by speedrunners who progress quickly through the game is increased
- The amount of points required to level up when Traveler Mastery is level 20 or higher is reduced

Stardust Rewards Increased:
- Increased base Stardust drop amount from defeating Hero Bosses (12 → 16)
- Increased Stardust reward obtained when completing achievements (40 → 50)
- Increased Stardust reward obtained when appraising relics (10 → 20)

Balance Adjustments:
- Reduced enemy HP and damage growth values in Easy and Normal difficulties
- Reduced the animation time of Balanced Beam by 60% when it ends
- The knockback strength of the basic attacks of Infernas, the boss of Phyrana's Earth, now decreases as the difficulty becomes easier
- Reduced the burn damage duration applied to Travelers by 30%
- Reduced the stun effect duration of the red magic circle of the Seeker boss in the Cave of Oblivion by 50%

Achievement Adjustments:
- Relaxed the completion conditions for 11 achievements that required excessive time to complete:
→ "Pure Imagination", "Horns, Feathers, and Gold", "Praise the Sun!", "Elemental Lord", "Empty Canvas", "Full Moon", "Hunters? What Hunters?", "Midas Incarnate", "Mine and Craft", "I've Got This!", "Reap What You Sow"
- With this hotfix, if the completion conditions for an achievement are now met due to the adjusted requirements, the achievement will automatically unlock when you start the game

## Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug where the safe zone sometimes generated too far away during White Night's special attack in Lotus Plateau
- Fixed a bug where cooldown reduction was not displayed in the tooltip when enhancing Memories
- Fixed a bug where the achievement was not completed even when a soul was infused into the wooden puppet in certain situations
- Fixed a bug where reconnection or mid-session joining was not possible in certain situations
- Fixed a bug where the sunglasses worn by the Hollow Traveler were displayed in the wrong position

Hello, Travelers!

Thank you for the tremendous support you have shown since launch, and we also deeply empathize with the frustration and disappointment some of you have felt.

The Traveler Mastery system was designed to bring players a sense of growth and progression, but in many ways, we now see that we did not consider enough of its impact.

As a result, this system failed to fully capture the core fun of Shape of Dreams and did not sufficiently respect the experience of players who enjoyed the demo and prologue.

Based on your feedback, we have prepared this hotfix, and we will continue to monitor gameplay closely and make ongoing improvements in the future.

## Hotfix Notes

Demo/Prologue Player Rewards:
- Grant Traveler Mastery rewards proportional to play time to existing demo/prologue players
→ If you played the demo or prologue for more than 10 minutes, when you run the game, a reward claim window will appear

Rules for Returning Proficiency Points:
- Proficiency points will be granted proportionally based on your demo playtime. The longer you played, the more points you would receive.
- Playtime under 10 minutes: No points will be granted
- Playtime between 10–60 minutes: Points will be granted as if you played for 60 minutes
- Playtime over 60 minutes: Points will be granted proportionally based on your actual playtime
- There is a maximum limit to the points you can receive, equal to the total points required to raise all five characters from level 0 to level 25
- Granted points can be freely distributed among the five unlockable demo characters: Lacerta, Mist, Yubar, Vesper, and Aurena

Progression Improvements:
- Increase Stardust reward amounts for Daydream quests by 25 ~ 100%
- Remove the time between completing a Daydream quest and assigning the next quest
- Lower Nachia Traveler's challenge requirement from 30 defeats → 20 defeats
- Reduce the number of points required to raise Traveler Mastery levels across the board
- Required mastery level to unlock all Flexible Stars decreased by 5 levels

Balance Rollback:
- When upgrading Memories, the cooldown will no longer converge at 50% and will continue to decrease
→ Reflecting feedback from many demo players about enjoyment and difficulty, we have rolled back that change, which was a balance patch for the full version

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where constellation tree refunds did not work properly in some situations
